For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in many areas of the beauty industry as both an esthetician and a makeup artist. My love for beauty started at a young age, watching my mom transform her clients as a hairstylist and cosmetologist. I was mesmerized by the power of beauty and couldn't wait to begin my own journey in the industry. Today, I am so grateful for a career that continues to bring me joy every single day.

The Journey Begins

In 2001, I earned my diploma in esthetics and makeup artistry and took my first big leap—moving to Vancouver to pursue my passion. There, I was drawn to the holistic side of beauty and immersed myself in Ayurveda face and body treatments. Learning to engage all the senses allowed me to not only enhance my clients’ skin but also leave them feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. These techniques remain a signature part of my treatments today.

Expanding My Expertise

My journey then took me to London, England, where I gained experience working in luxury spas and high-end beauty counters in world-renowned department stores. I also expanded my skills by earning a certification in Film and TV makeup from the London College of Fashion. Working with a variety of faces and styles, I discovered the artistry of transformation on a whole new level. London also holds a special place in my heart—it’s where I met the love of my life.

A Passion for Skin

After returning home, I shifted my focus to wedding makeup and developed a deep interest in medical aesthetics. In 2012, I became certified in medical aesthetics and laser therapy, allowing me to help clients improve their skin conditions and regain their confidence. My passion for education led me to become a brand educator, teaching other professionals advanced facial and body treatments, as well as makeup techniques for clean, socially conscious brands.

The Birth of Chrystalina Beauty

With years of experience and knowledge under my belt, I knew it was time to create a space of my own. In 2014, Chrystalina Beauty was born—a sanctuary where relaxation, healing, and self-care come first. My focus has always been on providing personalized treatments that not only enhance beauty but also nurture the soul.

To me, beauty isn’t just a luxury—it’s an essential part of self-care. When you take the time to care for yourself, you radiate confidence from the inside out.
